We’re passionate about helping independent practice thrive

Why Trusted Doctors Alliance?

Trusted Doctors Alliance (TDA) is a physician-led community created to support the financial health and long-term sustainability of independent practices. If you're tired of navigating overhead costs alone — or settling for subpar vendor deals — you're not alone. TDA exists to change that. Our mission isn’t to maximize profits, but to maximize savings for members. Our approach simply focuses on what’s essential so more stays where it belongs - with the physicians who care for patients.

Sandy Chung, MD, FAAP, FACHE

President

Dr. Sandy Chung leads the Trusted Doctors Alliance (TDA), a newly formed network dedicated to empowering independent medical practices. As President, she drives the alliance’s vision to support physician-led practices through reducing the crushing overhead practices face by collective bargaining and collaborative purchasing—all while preserving the autonomy and integrity of independent care. TDA was created in response to the growing challenges faced by small and mid-sized practices, and Dr. Chung brings decades of experience advocating for sustainable, community-based healthcare models.

Michael Martin, MD, FAAP

Medical Director

Dr. Martin is a dedicated leader in independent pediatric practice with over 20 years of experience in clinical care, practice management, research, and advocacy. After leading operations at a mid-sized pediatric group, he founded Einstein Pediatrics, which he has successfully run for over a decade. His clinical work is strengthened by more than 15 years of vaccine-focused research and over a decade of leadership with the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, including serving as president during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Martin’s deep experience in practice operations, research, and policy drives his commitment to keeping clinical integrity—not corporate interest—at the center of purchasing decisions. He is passionate about strengthening independent practices and preserving their ability to provide exceptional, evidence-based care to children and families.
